We built OrderLocal because we've been where you are.
OrderLocal started in a small restaurant kitchen in Surry Hills, Sydney. Our founders — a restaurateur losing $5,000+ a month to delivery app commissions and a software engineer tired of seeing great hospitality businesses squeezed by platforms that didn't understand them — decided enough was enough.
We set out to build the platform we wished existed: one that gives independent Australian restaurants the same technology advantages as the big chains, without the big chain price tag or the commission-heavy marketplace model.
